Scarborough is a cross-city trip to our Brampton studio — about 50 minutes on the 401 outside rush hour. Most of our Scarborough clients start with a free FaceTime consultation and only make the drive once, to finalise.

Most GTA jewellery stores stock a North Indian bridal aesthetic and treat everything else as special order. Scarborough deserves better than that. We carry temple-inspired antique-gold sets, long haaram-style layered necklaces, oddiyanam-style waist detail, jhimki earrings, and matha patti and nethi chutti styling for South Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil brides — alongside the kundan and polki that Punjabi and Hindu brides come for. Tell us the tradition you are dressing for and we will pull accordingly.
Antique gold finish, gold-plated price
The deep, matte antique-gold finish that defines South Indian bridal jewellery is genuinely hard to fake — thin plating goes brassy under camera flash and reads cheap in photos. The antique-gold pieces we carry are finished to hold that warm, aged tone properly, which is what lets a gold-plated haaram sit convincingly next to family gold in the same photograph.
Coordinating across two families' traditions
Mixed weddings are the norm in Scarborough now — a Tamil bride and a Punjabi groom, or a Hindu ceremony followed by a Western reception. That usually means two or three distinct jewellery looks rather than one. We plan the whole run in a single consultation: what the temple ceremony requires, what the reception should look like, and which pieces can honestly do double duty so you are not buying six sets.

Scarborough has several gold jewellers, largely concentrated around Markham Road and Gerrard. Outbox House specialises in handcrafted gold-plated bridal jewellery rather than 22K gold; we are based in Brampton and serve Scarborough through free virtual consultations and free shipping over $150.
Orders within the GTA typically arrive within a few business days. If you have a hard date, tell us at consultation and we will confirm timing before you order.
Yes, and it changes the recommendation meaningfully — saree necklines sit differently and generally take longer necklaces and heavier earrings than a lehenga choli does. Send a photo of the saree at consultation and we will style to it.
